FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Here are the top questions our clients ask before getting started.
My vendor already gave me an ROI calculator, isn't that enough?
No. Many vendors make egregious assumptions about utilization (or how often your chargers will get used). You also can't trust the numbers they gave you because they haven't done enough tenant + market research and they are not incentivized to do so. Their goal is ultimately to sell you as many chargers as possible. Getting lost in research decreases their likelihood of doing so.
Do you have any guarantees?
We'll 100% guarantee your satisfaction with the work we do for you, but we can't guarnatee any specific outcome. But that's why people come to us in the first place: because they want real clarity on whether their project will work or not, not some vague promises from a vendor with their own ulterior motives.
There are some nonprofit organizations willing to do the work you provide for free. Why shouldn't I just go with them?
Think of the last time you got a service 100% for free and were extremely satisfied with the result. Can't think of one? Us neither. First of all, these "free" services are not available everywhere; only in select, limited markets. Second, while objective, they don't do nearly as comprehensive an analysis as we do. For example, many only look at how many chargers your building can accommodate, not if anyone is likely to use them, or how much money you can make from them. Also, because these organizations have limited resources, they often disqualify many buildings right off the bat. For example, if your building is not in a specific opportunity zone or if it's too old, they won't touch it. We will.
What is your pricing?
We charge a one time, flat fee by a site's total parking space count, since it's a fairly good indicator of project complexity: 10-50: $5,000 50-75: $7,500 75-100: $10,000 100-125: $12,500 125-150: $15,000 150-175: $17,500 175-200: $20,000 200+: Custom Our pricing is roughly 10% of system value, and systems average about 20% of space count. If you end up scoping for more, you get more work from us for the same price. Remember, the cost of a mistake can soar to TWICE the system value over your term, so for the price of just 1-4 installed chargers, you get complete peace of mind.
Are there any additional fees?
The only additional fees we charge are for 3rd party services, like an electrician performing a load study. We will always inform you in writing of the services we think you need and get your express approval before hiring 3rd parties. That way, there are no surprises.
How long does it take to deliver a report?
It depends on the building size, scope, complexity, and the availability of 3rd parties, but we aim to deliver in less than 45 days, way faster than other industry players move.
