I've spent the past decade in real estate on all sides of the property equation: from agent to property manager to proptech salesperson. While working at an EV charging startup, I discovered a problem: the objectives of property owners and charging vendors seemed to be fundamentally misaligned.
Owners wanted to limit their scope due to uncertainty their chargers would ever be used, while vendors wanted to maximize it under vague promises that they eventually would.
That gap in trust is why I started EV Ramp. I wanted to give property owners and operators a clear, objective way to evaluate EV charging opportunities - without vendor influence.
